B'nai B'rith International, in partnership with The Jacob Rader Marcus Center of the American Jewish Archives (AJA), is pleased to present the first of three exciting and educational webinars commemorating the 170th anniversary of B'nai B'rith's founding. This webinar will boast many of the unique and historical documents of the B'nai B'rith Collection held at the AJA.

The first webinar, on December 18th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. ET, will feature Dr. Gary P. Zola, executive director of The Jacob Rader Marcus Center of the American Jewish Archives and professor of the American Jewish Experience at the HebrewUnionCollege– Jewish Institute of Religion, Cincinnati, Ohio.

B'nai B'rith International Executive Vice President Daniel S. Mariaschin will introduce the program.

During this innovative webinar, Zola will introduce participants to an interesting selection of historical documents that have come to light as the B'nai B'rith collection has been processed and organized for widespread scholarly access by the AJA. Webinar participants will have an opportunity to view virtual images of the featured documents, and they will also have a chance to interact with Zola in a question and answer session.

Zola is a well-known scholar of the American Jewish experience and is widely acknowledged for his innovative efforts to disseminate the history of American Jewry to the general public.
